Dear Mother:

I have been on my vacation all week so have not written you. I had a dandy time and saw many sights I will never forget. There is so much to see I can hardly get aroung to half of it but I keep going from morning until night to see what I can. I wish you were here with me to enjoy the beautiful scenery, etc.

I am sending you a bunch of post cards of things I have seen to give you an idea of it.

The Y.M.C.A. has a swell building in which they entertain us royally. Everybody does all they can to make us feel at home.

There are many well to do people here, in fact it is the millionaires’ play ground. This is where J. P. Morgan comes to spend his vacation and take sulpher baths.

Well tell you more when I have time.

Your loving son, Corp. A. R. Galle Air Service A.P.O. 712. A.E.F.
