Olivia, Minnesota is the featured town of Renville County for 2017: RCHS is seeking donations or loans of items & photographs from the businesses, schools (yearbooks, uniforms, etc), churches and organizations. We would like to include items from throughout the years of Olivia from when it started to TODAY. We would also like to include families from Olivia, Corn Capital Days (RCHS has no artifacts from this event in its collection) and more. Please check out the video we posted on our FACEBOOK page on 2/3/2017 on the Franklin exhibit to get an idea of the items we are seeking.

It is also the 20^th anniversary of St. John’s Church being here at the Museum. There will be a special exhibit at the courthouse April 1 – August 1 then it will be taken to the County Fair. I am looking for interior and exterior photographs of when it was a church and community building. I am also looking for stories of families that attended the church and artifacts from its years as the Episcopal Church in Olivia.
