The 2021 Donate to Vote Contest will be held through December 31, 2021! You can use this FORM to submit your donation vote or donate to vote on our website. Donations must be postmarked by December 31, 2021, in order to count for the contest.
The three cities in the running to be the 2023 featured Renville County City are Buffalo Lake, Hector, and Sacred Heart. The city that receives the most donations will be the 2023 featured city in the Main Museum.
This contest started at the Renville County Fair in August. The following towns have already been featured in the Main Museum, Bird Island (2018), Danube (2020-present), Fairfax (2019-present), Franklin (2016), Morton (2015), and Olivia (2017). Fairfax was featured at the 2021 Renville County Fair. Danube is currently on exhibit in the Main Museum. Renville will be the 2022 featured town with the exhibit opening June 2022. If you have items to donate or loan for the Renville exhibit please contact Nicole at the Museum. We continue to collect items from the 10 towns of Renville County including business premiums, school items (especially yearbooks), church items, and more.
WHO WILL BE THE WINNER THIS YEAR? The winner will be announced on Friday, January 7, 2022 to allow those who mail their Donate to Vote submissions to be counted. Again, the submissions must be postmarked on December 31, 2021, in order to count!
