Dear Folks, Shall write a few lines to let you know I am well and like it fine over here. I have seen quite a bit of the country since I got over here. Of course things are a little different than they are back home. The season is about the same. They are plowing here now, with oxen mostly, and a walking plow. But they seem to get along as well as the people back home do. They don’t get so many automobile rides. The only thing that bothers me is that I can’t talk to these people. I guess I might learn if I stay here long enough. I miss the home paper. Have not had any mail yet, since I left the States, but I guess we will soon get it. Well, I have nothing else to write, so will close. Tell everybody hello from me. As ever, Cpl. Carl L. Dahl
