A novel of the Indian Uprising in Minnesota 1862 by Bernard Francis Edererwas originally published in 1957. This is a work of historical fiction. Bernard Francis Ederer was born near Morton, Minnesota. After service in World War I, he graduated from Marquette University and practiced dentistry in Morris, Minnesota for 20 years. His interest in history can conservation prompted the late Governor Floyd Olson to appoint him to the Minnesota Conservation Commission.
