Patricia Lubeck grew up in Echo, Minnesota which is located in Yellow Medicine County. She moved away after graduation and returned to Belview, Minnesota, just down the road from Echo, in 2005. Lubeck worked as the director for the Yellow Medicine County and Redwood County Museums. Retired now, she is enjoying writing books that document Minnesota history. This is her third book.
